Students can earn a Certificate of Attendance by completing all course work and receiving a satisfactory (S) grade. The certificate will include the course(s) title, date of completion and administrator's signature. If the course offers CEUs, they will be indicated on the certificate.

To earn a certificate of attendance, students are to follow the course syllabus, attend the class and complete the coursework. Students will receive a grade of S (satisfactory) or U (unsatisfactory) for their performance. Courses taken as "noncredit" can not be applied to earning an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree with only this exception: Upon being admitted into an academic program, students with a satisfactory or “S” grade through the Office of Continuing Education & Professional Studies may petition the academic department for approval to apply the couse(s) toward their degree. Students are then required to pay the difference between the noncredit and credit tuition.
