Madonna University Merit Scholarships Successful fundraising, a substantial endowment, and the generosity of many benefactors help us remain one of the most affordable private, Catholic universities in the nation. We award more than $1.6 million in institutional aid annually to our students. All scholarships are renewable for up to four years for new, full-time students. Trustee Scholarship - $48,000 (Per year: $9,000 tuition & $3,000 residence hall) ACT composite score = 29 and GPA 3.8 or above Sponsored by the Stephenson Foundation, Obloy family, and Gieranoski families.
Felician Presidential Scholarship - $36,000 (Per year: $6,000 tuition & $3,000 residence hall) ACT composite score = 27 and GPA 3.6 or above Named for the founding and sponsoring body of Madonna University. Murphy Excellence Scholarship - $32,000 (Per year: $5,000 & $3,000 residence hall) ACT composite score = 25 and GPA 3.5 or above Sponsored by the Murphy family. St. Francis Dean Scholarship - $24,000 (per year: $3,000 tuition & $3,000 residence hall) ACT composite score = 24 and GPA 3.5 or above Named for St. Francis of Assisi, the patron of the Felician Sisters. Catholic Leadership Award - $20,000 (Per year: $2,000 tuition & $3,000 residence hall) Catholic student with ACT composite score = 20 and GPA 3.0 or above A letter of recommendation from student's parish required. Awarded to Catholic students who wish to combine a quality education with additional Catholic leadership training. St. Sebastian Athletic Award - $20,000 (Per year: $2,000 tuition & $3,000 residence hall) ACT composite score = 24 and GPA 3.4 or above Awarded by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to scholar-athletes and named for the patron saint of athletes. Performing Arts Scholarship - $27,000 (Per year: $3,000 tuition & $3,000 residence hall) Awarded by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions on musical ability and arranged audition with the Music Department. Crusader Awards - $8,000 (Per year: $2,000 tuition) ACT composite score = 20 and GPA 3.0 or above Sponsored by the friends of the University. Each award honors a specific benefactor of the University: Scholarship and Financial Aid Opportunities Brochure can be obtained through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. All scholarship awards apply to tuition only unless otherwise noted. Scholarships are available to new, first-year students intending to enroll full-time. Any combination of scholarships or Madonna University grants awarded by Madonna University cannot exceed the cost of attendance.
