The mission of the Office of Service-Learning at Madonna University is to promote, support and sustain effective service-learning partnerships between Madonna students, faculty and the community at-large.
What is Service-Learning? Academic service-learning is an experiential teaching/learning methodology that facilitates a deeper understanding of course objectives through engagement in relevant and meaningful community service. Service-learning fulfills the University’s mission by instilling in students Christian humanistic values, intellectual inquiry, a respect for diversity, and a commitment to serving others.
