Madonna University is a private Catholic University with an approximate student population of 4000. Residence housing is available with 200 students living on campus. Madonna provides more than 50 undergraduate majors and a graduate studies program featuring concentrations in diverse areas of business, education, nursing, health services and hospice and palliative studies.

Founded by the Felician Sisters of Livonia in 1947, Madonna University has remained committed to its belief in the spiritual, educational and service-oriented mission of its heritage, that of educating for truth, goodness and service.  Madonna University is the second largest Catholic university in Michigan and one of the largest Franciscan independent universities in the country.

UNIVERSITY BUILDINGS
The operating hours of the Academic and Residence Buildings of Madonna University are functional with the use by the University Community.

The Main Academic Building located at 36600 Schoolcraft Road is open to the public during the following days and hours: Fall and Winter Terms-Monday through Thursday from 6:00am until 10:30pm, Fridays from 6:00am to 10:00pm, Saturday from 7:00am until 5:30pm and Sunday from 9:00am until 5:00pm; Spring and Summer Terms-Monday through Fridays from 6:00am until 10:00pm, Saturday from 7:00am until 5:00pm. Closed on Sunday unless otherwise posted.

The Maertens Building located at 36300 Schoolcraft Road houses the School of Business and the College of Continuing and Professional Studies. The operating hours are: Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer Terms-Monday through Thursday from 8:30am until 10:00pm, Friday from 6:00am until 4:30pm, Saturday and Sunday: Open only during scheduled classes and seminars.

The DiPonio Building located at 36200 Schoolcraft Road houses the College of Nursing and Health. The operating hours are: Fall and Winter Terms from 8:00am until 7:00pm; Spring/Summer Terms from 8:00am until 5:00pm.

The Residence Hall is located at 14221 Levan Road. Access to the Residence Hall is limited to resident students and their guests who are to abide by Residence Hall policies. Access to the Residence Hall by University employees is on an as-needed basis.
